Hello, it's only me!
Didn't mean to scare you.
My name is Mitchell Hepburn.
I'm a solo game developer, and the developer of Cheropie.
I've been working on my game almost every day for the past 5 years!

I started my journey into game development when I was a kid, about 7 years old. My nan would buy me all sorts of software to play with on the computer like Magix Music Maker, Poser 4, Dark Basic Professional, YoYo Games Game Maker 7 Pro, 3D Game Maker... that sorta stuff. All those software's helped me cultivate an interest in the creation of media from a young age.

While in school I would spend lunch times in the Computer Lab developing 2-d platformers and basic Doom style games, and while at home I would make maps on a copy of the original SketchUp I was given by my mom's friend. It's just what I found fun!

By the time I reached college, I already had a comprehensive set of skills for game development, which made choosing it as a career path seem an obvious fit.
I studied VFX & Animation at Amersham & Wycombe College from 2013 to 2014.
The second year of that college course involved developing a video game, which is where Cheropie began!
After finishing the course, I decided to continue developing Cheropie.

I wanted to make a high-quality, fully 3-D game all by myself just to prove it was possible.
Here we are 5 years later: A free demo for Cheropie is now ready for release!
I designed the demo to show off most of Cheropie's core mechanics in a simple self-contained stage.

I plan to spend the next three years working on completing this project in full and producing a finished game to sell.
